Essential Liquor #18

#18 Coffee Liqueur - Like vodka (and unlike other liqueurs), coffee liqueur comes in a variety of brands, sweetness, and textures. The Firewater Lounge has stocked several tasty ones including the smooth-textured Kahlua, the affordable Kamora, the bitter Starbucks, the lighter Tia Maria, and the overproof Sabra. Obviously, Joe's choice would have to be the sweet and versatile Kamora, a mainstay at the Lounge since 1995.

We also have a long tradition of using flavors of creams and sugars for our coffee drinks. Our current creamer brand of choice is International Delight. Two flavors of their creamer are especially good for a rich glass of coffee yum - Southern Butter Pecan and Caramel Macchiato. The following original drink uses the former.

Seguin Café
1 1/2 ounces vodka
2 1/2 ounces coffee liqueur (Kahlua or Kamora)
1 1/2 ounces Southern Butter Pecan creamer
