We love the vanilly-orange purple yum named Parfait Amour. It makes beautiful blue and purple cocktails and pairs great with gin. But it does have a strange quality. If you mix it with an orange or yellow liquid, the Parfait goes grey. However, if you're able to get the right proportions, it will turn a metallic color. Try one for yourselves; if you get the right color it should be the same color as those lick and stick stars that elementary teachers used to give out...
Gold Star
1 1/4 ounce gin
3/4 ounce Parfait Amour
1/2 ounce Jagermeister
Shake all on ice. Drink up.
